Free Updates to Bibble, Aperture and iPhoto

Bibble Labs announced a free update for users of Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite version 5 to 5.21 adding support for the new model Canon cameras. Version 5.21 is available now. Apple has also updated Aperture and iPhoto through its Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.6 which in addition to adding support to the new Canon models as well as new Olympus and Pentax models fixes some issues with raw images from the Nikon D7000 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2.

New Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 HSM Review Compared with Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S Lens

The Sigma 70-200 performs well at any aperture making it possible to take images in low light at a distance like this one of the awards podium at a First LEGO League competition held at Google's headquarters.For action photography no lens gets more work than the venerable 70-200mm f/2.8. With the addition of built-in focus motors over the last decade (called USM by Canon, AF-S by Nikon and HSM by Sigma) as well as support for Teleconverters for extra reach it is a great "go-to" lens for action indoors and out. Pindaya Cave: Second Time Is The Charm

pl_pindayacave_0169Ever since I saw a photo of Pindaya Cave in a travel magazine I’ve been smitten with the way over the edge array of caverns literally stuffed full of over 8,000 Buddha images lit in a bewildering number of different ways. The result is an incredible experience. But capturing more than a tiny slice of the cave can be a photo nightmare.
