Tufted Puffins are one of North America's closest relatives to the Penguin. Normally they eat the fish they catch while they are still out swimming, but during breeding season they bring it back by the beakfull for their chicks. To get both these birds in focus in this very unique and fleeting pose I spun the aperture all the way closed to maximize my depth of field.

Photo taken with Nikon D2H, 200-400mm lens with 1.7TC, at 700mm, 1/100s at f27.
