These are ICC profiles (usable by Win98 or Mac Colorsync) for the Fujix 3000 and Fujix 4000 at Imagers in Atlanta (http://www.imagers.com).

Imagers does an excellent job at a great price, but it's always bugged me that they don't supply ICC profiles for their Fujix printers.  They keep them adjusted to factory specs, but that doesn't help correct for color.  So I built my own for their printers using EZColor.  EZColor is not a high-end package, so don't expect too much from these profiles, but I've found them to be consistently better than trying to guess and using a hit & miss method to correct.

Instructions for printing with these profiles using Win98 (should be pretty similar with Win95 and PS5):

  1. Download the profiles to your Color folder (normally c:\windows\system\color)
  2. Use a Profile->Profile conversion to convert your image to the Profile for the printer you will be using
  3. Save A Copy (make sure it's a copy or you'll be sorry later:-) of your file without an ICC tag (although since Imagers says they ignore profile information the tag may not hurt anything)
  4. ZIP it up and submit with your order!

That's it.  There are no special printing instructions for Imagers involved.
