As our workshops are for small groups and custom designed, many of the costs are non-recoverable and therefore deposits and most fees are non-refundable (in particular we can not issue any refund once a trip has started)--so we strongly encourage travel insurance. We use and recommend Squaremouth.com, a site which gives you a choice of plans from all the major travel insurance carriers at excellent prices. Note that most plans require that you take out the insurance within a few days of your initial deposit to get the broadest protection in the event you need to cancel the trip.
